Information on the WEEE eco-tax

From January 1, 2025, the amount of the eco-participation (WEEE), included in the price of our electrical and electronic appliances, will increase. This change is the result of new regulations aimed at strengthening the financing of the collection, recycling and recovery of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

Why is the eco-tax increasing?

  • An environmental commitment: Eco-participation helps reduce pollution and waste from end-of-life equipment.
  • A regulatory framework: The European WEEE Directive requires manufacturers to ensure the collection, recycling and recovery of used equipment through a system of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).

Payment of this eco-participation is compulsory and directly integrated into the sale price.

How is it applied?

Total price = Product price + Eco-participation

This amount is clearly indicated on our invoices and included in the product price. It is paid to an approved eco-organization to finance recycling.

How do I get my old equipment back?

When your new electrical appliance is delivered, our delivery personnel can take back your old equipment free of charge*. To take advantage of this service, tick the "Yes" box to the question about taking back old equipment when you place your order on our website.

Recovered equipment is entrusted to an eco-organization for recycling or recovery.

VIP196 Ageing Wine Fridge - Prestige Range

The VIP196 wine fridge is designed for both serving temperature control and wine ageing, offering storage for up to 195 bottles* (in standard configuration, meaning with its original equipment). Highly aesthetic, the VIP196 is fully coated in black and features a design that is particularly suited to a living space or a restaurant with a refined décor. One of its most appreciated visual features by our customers is its lighting: the white LED lights undeniably enhance the bottles, giving a unique ambiance to the displayed collection.

Key Features of the VIP196

The VIP196 wine fridge offers numerous benefits:

  • A glass door, sleek and elegant for a highly aesthetic visual effect;
  • Side LED lights built into the cabinet to showcase your bottles with soft lighting;
  • Comprehensive equipment: includes 5 fixed wooden shelves + 1 presentation shelf;
  • 1 thermometer/hygrometer + 3 thermometers for optimal precision at all times;
  • 1 active carbon filter to neutralise odours and purify the air;
  • Excellent cold distribution to ensure even cooling;
  • 2 sensors connected to a secure electronic thermostat for precise regulation;
  • 1 visual and sound alarm that alerts you in case of a temperature rise;
  • Cold protection feature to prevent freezing of bottles in case of an external temperature drop between 5°C and 0°C.

Wine Fridge with 6 Temperature Zones

The VIP196 is a multi-temperature wine fridge. Depending on your settings, it can provide up to 6 different temperature zones! This feature is essential if your wine collection includes as many red wines as white, rosé, or even Champagne.

If you set the lowest temperature at the bottom of the fridge and the highest at the top, the difference between them is automatically divided, creating up to 6 distinct temperature zones in a single fridge.

Alternatively, if you prefer a single, uniform temperature for ageing your wines, simply set the same temperature in both the upper and lower sections of the fridge.

Which Accessories are Compatible with the VIP196 Wine Fridge?

The compatible accessories for the VIP196 ageing or serving wine fridge include:

  • Active carbon filter: Ref. FCA01;
  • Fixed wooden shelf: Ref. CLAVIP01;
  • Presentation shelf: Ref. CLAVIP02;
  • Label holder: Ref. RET1.

* The stated capacity is measured according to the European standard EN62552. This standard is based on 75cl traditional Bordeaux bottles. Any other bottle format, as well as the addition of shelves, will significantly reduce the storage capacity. The maximum capacity is calculated with a predefined number of shelves, which varies depending on the model.
